Omofolawe Otun

Omofolawe is a Chemistry lecturer in one of Nigeria’s Federal Universities. She is also a Phd candidate of the University of Reading, United Kingdom. She has more than 5 years of experience in teaching young people both in Nigeria and UK to excel at various local and international examination boards. She strongly believes that quality education should be available and accessible to every youth.

Following her passion for education, she co-founded Learnura with some colleagues, while she was a student at the University of Ibadan. Learnura is a platform dedicated to helping first year university students adapt to the university system, to avoid the common woes and pitfalls of the freshman year.

Apart from her academic achievements and experience with teaching, Omofolawe is insightful and empathetic towards her students, while maintaining an unwavering standard of excellence. She will bring this experience working with young children to her role in JuCE.
